Another pre-dawn departure on PAL (Philippine Airlines) for what was supposed to be a long day trip back down to Tacloban for work. Quick trip to check up on some water repairs and meeting with the governor and mayor in the worst hit of the typhoon areas. Things are slowly getting better in the city and it was even more evident on this trip down.
Unfortunately, PAL cancelled my return flight to Manila and since that was the last flight back, I had to scramble and find a hotel (not an easy task in Tacloban right now). Finally did find a place though. Quick night's sleep and back to the airport via tricycle for a slightly post-dawn departure.
