As part of a USAID-NOAA collaboration with the Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources, coral reef monitoring structures were deployed on May 30th in celebration of the end of Ocean's month in the Philippines. I was lucky enough to join the dive team that was installing one of the monitors just off the coast in Cebu.
