What was already a long trip became a little longer due to flight delays in Seattle and then a lightening delay in Las Vegas that prevented the ground crew from being able to off load the bags for 2+ hours. So after 16hrs of flights, 3hrs of layovers, 4hrs of delays I then did a 5hr drive from Las Vegas to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. A long trip, but worth it to wake up to this on my 1st morning back in the US:
