Taal Volcano

I summited the mighty Taal Volcano (supposedly the world's tiniest volcano) in 2014, but never managed to make it back to the other trail that reaches the crater lake interior until the other weekend.  Taal is actually a volcano with a crater lake (caldera) inside of another crater lake - like volcano nesting dolls.  Inside the lake is warm due to the volcanic activity and you can find sulfur deposits and thermal vents and fumaroles around the lakeshore.
